I would like to thank the team for the work they have done for the community.
I have had no intention of doing any work here for the last two months to be honest,
as only before that i was learning stuff from being here, like how to run a forum,
getting to practice typing, getting to kill off those minutes i had spare on the bus on
my netbook, getting to know people, playing pes and having no one annoy me or cheat against me as i was a moderator.
However i barely play PES6 anymore, barely any games for the last two months,
and none in the last two weeks. Instead i have been working on my own
projects that will benefit me in the future, and i can show off, and continue to spend my time constructively improving them.
Whatever work i have done on the forum and contributed, i feel i have gained more personally.
I have always limited the work i have done. Such as making Super Moderators only
having to move a thread when a moderator has done all the work of evaluating it,
and choosing out the %/ looking up users name. Moderators like Cantona have stood down as they did not wish to do Donkey work for the community.
Now that i am no longer Super Moderator i have taken the step of removing the
rules i worked on. My Intellectual property and while i would have gained more by leaving
them and being able to say i wrote the rules that 25,000 people use, instead of taking away something i have spent some time building, i feel the moderation team will gain more from having to write up a new set, and the person who has to do this will be more competent to run the community after doing so, and will be able to resolve conflicts when lancast is not around. I have left the paragraphs Lancast created, the rest i spent time creating, and lancast then had a read of, and suggested i change a few things. But it was me who had to spend the evening making them, and such they are my work, as Lancast spent about 15 minutes in total on them, while i spent hours and wrote them out twice.
I would also request that my Article on PES6 which is currently on the portal be removed as i will be using it on my own site, and i no longer give the rights to use it externally. Once again i gained more here, as i got to write an article 2000 people read. Everyone who is to read it, had, so i am once again not taking anything away on purpose, only that someone else will end up writing an article, and maybe this will lead to someone regularly writing one.
As i had done no work as moderator for months, i have promised that the Setup program, and rankings site would be PES6J branded to lancast. However i never had
any intention to do so as i have no intention of being used in any way. The work i do is mine, or i atleast gain knowledge from doing it. As i no longer play PES6, i have no use of being a moderator, and lately i have not cared what i say to people. Like calling Gunna a kid, when he acts like a kid. Legal, but risky as a moderator, and when i created the Gunna the Goat poster, i was pushing the boundaries. If i was not a moderator, i could do as a wish, as nothing i have done has abused anyone. At worst i argued, but as moderator i cannot.
Anyway i wish everyone luck, but i have no reason to be here at all anymore.
I dont play PES, i don't do any work as Super Moderator as i am not being paid and too smart to be used, and moderators are just stupid people who don't realise there just doing Donkey work.
I have enjoyed having the power that i have had over people i might have known for years. But also i did try and help anyone who ever sent me a message, or was being targeted by another user. I also made sure moderators didn't start to abuse there power, when i became a moderator, and tried to shape the online as much as i could, by being extra strict on Wrong lobby situations, spam, cheating, name calling. I have had a large influence, and i feel very happy to leave now as i have nothing more to contribute or prove to myself, only my own projects to work on, and things to learn.
I definitely feel that this place looses more from me leaving, than i do from leaving this place.
I also don't feel like this place will change at all. Elpinfi never visits any of these threads, and i have only ever talked to him a few times on Youtube where he is very kind i must say, and while i not talk about anything PES6 related only about how he plays guitar etc, i get the feeling he will never improve this place. Lancast has no access to anything other than the forum, which he cannot change due to everything being built into it. Ringare i have on my MSN, and he is a cool guy i talked too quite a bit. So If lancast ever thought i sucked up to him as i needed him or anything, i just respected you and found you interesting, if i need anything i could talk to Elpinfi on youtube, or Ringare on MSN.
I would wish to be demoted to a normal user, or vip, i do not mind which. I have never done anyone harm here, and have contributed alot, and i personally like Lancast alot even though you are a user and blocked me until you thought you could get my ladder for PES6J again a few days ago. So i would like to leave this community on good terms, but i will stay a member and visit once and awhile incase i am ever needed and asked nicely to do something small via the messaging system. If i ever wanted to harm this community i would have done so now, like mute a 1000 people late at night, and then make you guys unmute them all, or delete every thread.
But i would never harm this place, or attack lancast like that who is doing a good job here, sadly i have no intention of being used by anyone or wasting the most important time of my life, the 18-24 age where we develop and then stop developing.
I have learned all i can here, and move on just like Elpinfi has chosen too, and i am quite happy if only Lancast reads this message, as i have talked to or will talk too everyone else i need too on msn.
