since Enda´s new judge system is out it is FORBIDDEN for africans (except those who live in europe) to play in europe´s lobby:Quote from: Enda_of_Eire on October 19, 2009, 08:30:25 PM18. Playing on the correct server Due to traffic problems (not enough players being on the Asia server for example), and Lag problems (African players playing in the European servers and vice versa) the following rules are to be applied by Moderators:European IP’s only on European servers. (Africans, Americans, Asians living in a European country and currently playing from Europe can play in the European server obviously).African IP’s, Asian IP’s, American IP’s can play in either the African server, the Asian server and the American server of there choice. It is recommend they play in the server corresponding with there geographical location to avoid lag.Any player to be found of breaking these rules can be subject to the following % warnings:First offence and adequate proof: 30% Second+ offence: 40% If you encounter a player who you believe is located in Africa, America or Asia and is playing on the European server etcthere are two ways for you to report this person:One: You are allowed to use an external program of your choice to verify a persons IP (Which is possible with certain Programs). You must then provide the IP, Players game name and a video of them in the European lobby when making a complaint. Two: If a player is called ALGERIAN-GOD etc, then there is a good chance that player is located in Africa etc.In this case all you need is for some tell-tale sign that the player is located in Africa etc, and then ask them where they are located. If they do not answer in any way, or answer yes they are in Africa then you may report them with a video of them in the European Server (The video must show them in the lobby, or a room within the lobby etc - the lobbys name must be shown at some point during the video). If they say No they are in Europe, and you do not have the means to test there IP, you can still PM a moderator with the players game name and a video of them in the European lobby, and we may then be able to work out if that player is indeed from Africa, America or Asia etc (European to players in the American server etc) and issue the warning - but you will not be allowed to open a thread on them if they answered no (Just PM a mod instead). Opening a thread without having asked the player where he is from will result in the inadequate proof warning to be issued to you, so PM a mod.Moderators: Second offences must be accompanied with a note in the users native language explaining the situation. Ask a super moderator for the persons exact geographical location and language if needed.

Quote from: mskandeeel on October 25, 2009, 01:01:28 PMits a free country i think anyone can play in any lobby he wantseurope is made of some free countries. but your argument is flawed.as free as europe can be, uefa won't let african club participate in the champion's league for example. that's because uefa handles europe, and caf handles africa.
its a free country i think anyone can play in any lobby he wants
The lobby names are just a guideline for players. If they were not, the best players from each continent would never cross paths and get to play together.People from Europe would never be allowed to play there friends in Africa, or with there friends from America. Also if you made a friend on this forum, and wanted to play, only to realise your from different continents, it would be wrong. But yes there are some African players mainly too stupid to follow the guidelines, or too smart and know they will have a greater chance of winning in the Europe lobby as the European will lag on there host, and whoever wins overall will be more down to how well someone copes with the lag.The best solution is for you to ask the player your going to play, where he is from.If he does not say Europe simply dont play. Ofcourse he could lie. What i do is check peoples IP's during the settings screen before a game, and if there from Africa just DC back to the room, or take a short video of the person saying there from Europe earlier but then show on BadProgram1 they have an African registered IP and report. However i hardly bother doing all that, i just DC.*BadProgram1 is a word put in place of a censored word, simply it is an IP checking program i use*
The problem is solved now ..
